What it is

What are a Zillow 3D tour and a floor plan?

A Zillow 3D Home tour is an interactive walkthrough on a property's Zillow listing page that lets a buyer move from room to room on screen. A floor plan is a measured 2D drawing of the home with each room labeled and dimensioned. Out-of-area and relocating buyers plan their visits from the pair, and sellers and stagers use the dimensions for furniture decisions. Higginbotham Media scans every room, closet, and utility space in about 45 minutes, then delivers branded and unbranded versions, including an unbranded tour link for the MLS. Book the tour with The Kit + Kaboodle or The Whole Shebang and the studio can upload it to Zillow Showcase on request. The price covers one story; the booking form adds $50 for a second, $100 for a third, and $150 for a fourth. The photographer measures rooms on site for marketing use, so the plan does not replace a survey or an appraisal.

How it works

From booking to delivery.

  1. Book

    Book online from the pricing page: enter the property address first, choose a time the calendar can reach from the studio's previous shoot, and the request is confirmed by email within one business day.

  2. Prepare

    Get the property ready before the visit: the checklist below covers what makes the biggest difference. Access details, gate and lockbox codes go on the booking form.

  3. The visit

    The capture takes about 45 minutes on its own. Every room, closet, and utility space is scanned, so the whole home should be tidy, not only the rooms that will be photographed.

  4. Editing and delivery

    Edited files are delivered to a private online gallery within two business days. Where the booking form offers a rush option, it brings delivery to 24 hours or less for $75. Galleries stay open for the period stated at delivery, typically 30 days, so download and keep your own copies.

Before the shoot

How to get ready.

  • Clear counters, floors, and beds; put away personal items, cords, pet bowls, and trash cans.
  • Turn on every light, replace burnt-out bulbs, and open blinds and curtains so rooms photograph bright.
  • Move vehicles out of the driveway and away from the front of the home, and close garage doors.
  • Tidy the yard and pool area: mow, blow off patios, uncover outdoor furniture, and stow hoses and toys.
  • Secure pets and, where possible, plan for the home to be empty while the shoot is under way.
  • The Zillow 3D tour and floor plan capture every room, so closets, laundry, and utility spaces should be tidy too.

Based in Jupiter, FL, serving Florida’s Treasure Coast and The Palm Beaches:

  • Palm Beach County — Tequesta, Jupiter, Jupiter Farms, Juno Beach, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach
  • Martin County — Palm City, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound
  • St. Lucie County — Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie
  • Indian River County — Vero Beach, Sebastian

Outside these areas? Send the address for a travel quote.

Travel fees

  • No travel fee within 85 road miles of the studio.
  • Beyond that, $1.50 per round-trip mile, calculated from the property address before you pick a time.
  • Properties more than 200 round-trip miles away are quoted individually.

Good to know

  • Pricing follows the number of stories: one story is included, a second adds $50, a third $100, and a fourth $150 on the booking form.
  • Listing packages cover homes up to 3,000 sq ft; larger homes are priced at $0.10 per additional square foot when you book.
  • Dimensions are measured on site for marketing use; the floor plan is not a survey or an appraisal document.
  • If the home is not ready when the photographer arrives, the shoot may go ahead as-is, be shortened, or be completed on a paid return visit.
  • Canceling less than 12 hours before the start time, or a visit that cannot go ahead because the property is inaccessible or not ready, carries a $75 fee.
